About the event:
Let's get together for a ruck/walk around the shaded Peccole Ranch greenbelt trails!

Rucking is walking with a weighted backpack or rucksack and is an effective, beginner-friendly, low-impact way to build strength, improve endurance, and boost overall fitness. You are welcome to ruck with a weighted pack or vest, or simply walk without a pack, either way is okay!

The route will be about 2-3 miles on a paved, flat, mostly shaded trail. Dogs are welcome!

What to bring?
Weighted backpack, rucksack, or vest (optional). A good starting point for beginners is about 10% of body weight, but less is okay! Household items such as water bottles, books, or small dumbbells can be used to add weight. Bring comfortable shoes and water.

Special Instructions:
We'll meet in front of the Peccole Ranch Community Association building near Apple and Red Hills Rd.

Instructor:
Ryan Prato
