Welcome to Sober Black Millennials!
Our goal is to create a supportive safe space where we rediscover the activities we love with a sober mind and without the pressure of needing to explain your lifestyle. Whether you are 10 minutes sober, 10 years sober, sober-curious, or just looking for a dry event, let’s come together and make connections!
*Note: Some events will be held at venues that sell alcohol. We are here to create a supportive space, where we can coexist with the alcohol based world. We understand that everyone has their own journey, so there is no judgment if you decline such events.
This is a judgment-free zone, all black ethnicities, sexual orientation, gender identities, and religious beliefs are welcome!
House Rule:
- Please do not consume alcohol or any substances while attending events.
- Don’t question anyone’s decision not to drink or not to consume substances.
-Understanding that ‘no’ is a complete sentence.
- Do not assert judgment, guilt or shame on those who want to leave early or who want to remain silent
- Be respectful of everyone’s journey, opinions, beliefs, sexual orientation, or lifestyle.
