About us
Sober & Curious NY is a new community in New York City for people who are sober, sober curious, taking a break, or simply looking to connect without alcohol being the focus.
Building on the community created by Sober & Curious Boston, we’re bringing welcoming alcohol-free walks, social gatherings, and other activities to NYC. We’re inclusive, judgment-free, and not affiliated with any recovery program.
Wherever you are in your relationship with alcohol, you’re welcome here.

Join us for the first Sober & Curious New York event: a relaxed walk through Central Park followed by time to connect over nonalcoholic beverages.

We will walk approximately 2 miles at a relaxed, conversational pace before returning for a casual social. You are welcome to bring a blanket or portable chair for the social.Come solo or bring a friend. Whether you are sober, sober curious, drinking less, taking a break, supporting someone, or simply interested in meeting people through experiences that do not revolve around alcohol, you are welcome here.

Photo & Video Policy
We love sharing the energy and connection that make our community special. Photos and videos may be taken at events and used on our website, social media, newsletters, promotional materials, and other communications. From time to time, we may also share select photos or videos with trusted partners, sponsors, or media outlets to promote Sober & Curious Boston and collaborative initiatives. By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear in event photos or videos.
