About us
Welcome to Sober Denver, a supportive community for individuals seeking a sober lifestyle in the Denver area! Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space where people from all walks of life can connect, share their experiences, and grow together on their journey to sobriety.
Our diverse community is united by a common goal: to build meaningful relationships and create memorable experiences, all without the need for alcohol or drugs. We organize different social events, including hikes, picnics, sober anniversary dinners, and coffee meetups, and we have a weekly Sober Strategies meeting over Zoom to talk about challenges in sobriety and how we are getting through them. These events are designed to promote personal growth, encourage self-discovery, and foster a sense of camaraderie among us all. We also have a Discord server to stay connected with each other and plan events that won't work well on Meetup, ask someone at an event for the link!
Whether you're newly sober, have been living a sober lifestyle for years, or are simply curious about exploring a substance-free life, we'd love for you to join us. Sober Denver is a judgement-free zone where everyone is welcome, regardless of their background or the stage they are at in their journey. We do ask that no one come to our events, virtual or in-person, under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Donations (via Pledge or Venmo) are welcome and go to paying for our Zoom subscription and Meetup organizer subscription. We also use these donations to help members who are struggling financially to come to our paid events. No one's sobriety should be limited by how much is in their pocket, so please reach out if you'd like to come to one of our paid events but don't have the money for it.
We look forward to sharing in your journey and building lasting connections together. Welcome to Sober Denver!
