This epic tour of Agoura and Calabasas departs from Agoura at the Kanan Park and Ride, then drops into the La Sierra Preserve via Kanan Road. From here we head east on Mulholland across the Triunfo Creek Bridge, and ride one of the most famous stretches of highway in the country: "The Snake" (currently closed to autos) and past the Rock Store to Cornell.
We'll continue on Mulholland and take a detour by Malibou Lake, returning to Mulholland at Reagan Ranch. As we ride through Malibu Creek SP we'll eventually get to King Gillette Ranch, former home of the razor magnate, and now NPS HQ. We'll take a bathroom break here.
Just after King Gillette Ranch, we'll detour onto Dry Creek Cold Canyon Road. We'll ride by Calabasas Lake, and make a a short pitstop at cycling hangout Pedalers Fork on Calabasas Rd (with lunch there after ride is completed) before looping toward Hidden Hills and finally back to our starting point.
🍽️ We'll meet for a post-ride lunch at Pedaler's Fork
🚵♀️Ride is about 35 miles, all paved roads, with 3,600 feet of total ascent. We'll ride for battery conservation (and site seeing), about 10-15 mph
