Family Friendly Climb at Fictitious Joshua Tree (Angeles Forest)

Come join fellow SoCal Climbers for family & kid friendly climbing at Fictitious Joshua Tree in the Angeles Forest, North of LA.

It's too hot and far to go to the real J-Tree, and you've already been to Stoney too much, so come join us as we explore this newer climbing area in the San Gabriel Mountains.

We'll meet at the 3 Points Trail head at 10:30am on Sunday for the very short (5-10 minute) approach. Get your adventure pass before you park! It's off the same road as the Horse Flats Campground - a spot for good bouldering after.

Bring gear if you got it, routes are 50 ft max but anchors do require multiple long slings or other extensions from the bolts.

--- BEGINNERS ---

You'll need climbing shoes which can be found for around $80 at REI. Ideally you'd have a harness too. If not, ask to borrow one from folks who are resting.
