SoCal Adults and Crafts Meetup Group

If you like to craft, there's a good chance you have an unfinished project or two (or ten 😉🙋‍♀️). Let's encourage each other to work on our existing WIPs! Meet new or old friends, and bring a friend if you'd like!

Guidelines:

• WIP = work in progress; can be anything! For this event, your WIP should be portable.
• Examples include (but not limited to) knitting, crochet, embroidery, painting, diamond art, needle felting, macrame, hand sewing, paper crafts... however you like to express your creativity!✨
• Everyone should bring their own WIP and whatever supplies you need to work on it.
• This is a casual hangout where we all work independently, together! If you run into a hiccup with your project, we can definitely try to help you through it, but this is not designed to be a teaching event.

Location: TeWinkle Park off Arlington Dr. in Costa Mesa. We will gather on the grassy area near Arlington and the baseball fields. (If you've attended other events from this group at TeWinkle, in that same area!)

• I will bring blankets for anyone to sit on the grass, but you are more than welcome to bring your own camping/folding chair if you'd rather!
• If you need a table to do your craft, we can be near one of the picnic tables (and I'll have a tablecloth in case it's needed).

This event is free, but it helps so much to keep your RSVP updated so I know how many friends to expect!

Come and create with me! We will create beautiful diamond art coasters during this Memorial Day Weekend. You can choose from a variety of mandala, tree of life and Boho sun and moon patterns (see Photos). Each kit comes with one coaster pattern of your choice (that you can choose on the day of the event) and diamond art supplies.

*You can purchase additional coasters for $5 each.

NEW 3️⃣ Option 3 - Bring your own craft & seating
Donation based (suggested donation $0-$15):
This is the perfect option for those of you who like to decide on the day of the event. Bring your own picnic blanket/seating arrangement and craft, and donate what you feel comfortable with.

🔸 Location / Setup:
• I will be setting up some tables and chairs and sending my exact location on the day of the event to whoever RSVP'd
🔸 What to bring:
• Feel free to bring your own lunch, snacks, beverages, etc
• Bring something warm in case the weather is chilly
🔸 Refund Policy
You will always be refunded if the event is rescheduled or canceled.
Refunds offered if you cancel before 5/13/24 for both the group craft and if you're bringing your own craft.
If you are eligible for a refund based on the above, please message me directly to request a refund or a future event credit.
