What we’re about

You are warmly invited into our friendly art society. It’s an art gang with a difference. We’d rather do art together. We delight in everybody’s work.

How we do things

Every session is carefully put together to unlock your creativity, celebrate your artistry and get to know you as a person.

We use a combination of collaborative drawing techniques, games and prompts to create a care free atmosphere where you can meet and learn from others.

Our prompts are designed to capture your creativity at its peak before you have a chance to edit yourself.

So you’ve drawn a face before..get ready to draw it squashed, long, exaggerated etc

Inspo, inspo, inspo

You will come away with lots of ideas to turn into bigger pieces of work. Or you may prefer to bring something you’re working on already.

Types of meet up

- Creative afternoons of themed/timed exercises
- Visits to performance spaces to draw
- Summer picnic socials

When we meet

We tend to meet fortnightly where we can find a space. Details are usually posted a week in advance.

Mediums

We use pens/pencils mainly because they are most practical for the space but we welcome artists of all disciplines.

What meet ups feel like

Like you’ve gone round your friend’s house and you’ve both got your pens out, just having fun creating.

Imagine: focus, laughter, appreciation and banter

Who we are for

We are for anyone, whether you have an art background or not.

And to whom it may concern…
…of course you can draw - come find out :)

We are especially for people looking to step away from typical talk about work, the tube and the weather and make relaxed, meaningful connections with fellow art friends.

Please note:

Though we chat, share and inspire each other’s discovery of style and medium, no formal art training or critique will be given.

What some of our regulars want you know:

“I love coming here because I never know what I’l end up drawing”

“a group of creative, beautiful people inspiring each other.. with a jolly vibe”
