When and Where We Meet

We gather every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at a convenient and accessible location:

Our chosen venue is not only a clean and safe space but also secure, ensuring that your chess sessions are enjoyable and worry-free.
Additionally, courtesy refreshments is provided, you can relax with a beverage and snacks

    Treat all members with kindness, respect, and courtesy, regardless of their skill level, age, gender, or background.
  2. Fair Play:
    Maintain the highest standards of fair play and sportsmanship during chess games. Cheating, unsportsmanlike behaviour, or disrespecting opponents will not be tolerated.
  3. Inclusivity:
    Embrace diversity and inclusivity within our community. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic will not be tolerated.
  4. Personal Belongings:
    Please take care of your personal belongings, including your chess set. The group cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
  5. Keep It Safe:
    Be mindful of your surroundings and the safety of all members. Refrain from any behaviour that might put others at risk.
  6. Punctuality:
    Arrive on time for our Saturday meetings to ensure that we can accommodate everyone efficiently and make the most of our gathering.
  7. Cafe Etiquette:
    When using the indoor cafe, please follow any rules and guidelines established by the venue. Show consideration to the staff and other patrons.
  8. Conflict Resolution:
    In case of disputes or conflicts, try to resolve them amicably and privately. If necessary, reach out to one of the group organisers to mediate and find a solution.
  9. Appropriate Language:
    Maintain a family-friendly and respectful tone in all interactions. Offensive language, profanity, or disrespectful comments are not allowed.
