Remember when school gave us an easy way to meet people?
Friendships happened so naturally. But as adults, that structure disappears.
We're surrounded by people but can go days without actually talking to anyone.
Most of us don't need help socializing. We just need a reason to start.
And that's what Head Out Toronto is.
Head Out Toronto is a group for people in their 30s and 40s+ who want to get out more, meet new people, and actually enjoy doing it.
We create simple, structured social events that make it easy to connect with others, without any pressure or overthinking.
Some events are built around conversation, and some around playing, moving, or being outside.
They make it easy to walk in and feel like you belong.
Most people come on their own. But coming with a friend works too.
Never any icebreakers or unwanted spotlights.

It’s in the Cards: Pick Your Poison Edition | Toronto Social Night 30+
TacoTaco, 319 Augusuta Ave, Toronto, ON, CAMeet new people over ridiculous dilemmas in a social night designed to make conversation easy.
It’s in the Cards is back with a completely new game: Pick Your Poison.
Before the event, Torontonians were asked to choose between 25 ridiculous, undesirable scenarios. Their choices created the final rankings.
When you arrive, you’ll get one of those scenario cards, but you won’t know where it ranked.
Your goal? Meet people, compare scenarios and trade your way toward a card you think ranked near the top.
Near the end of the night, make a team of four and submit your cards together. Then Toronto’s rankings are revealed.
Higher ranked cards earn more points, and the top two teams win prizes.
But the game is really just the excuse to talk.
No awkward icebreakers, no assigned questions and no pressure to work the room. The cards give you a natural reason to approach someone, and something ridiculous to talk about once you do.
Designed primarily for adults in their 30s and 40s. Most guests come solo, but friends and couples are welcome too.
