What we’re about
Welcome to our Social Impact Book Club in Perth Western Australia! We have such a thriving social impact community here in Perth, and we're hoping to build on that to have some fun and discuss interesting, thought-provoking texts on any topic related to social impact.
Whether you're passionate about making a difference or simply curious about the field, our book club aims to offer a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share insights, and foster meaningful conversations.
Join us as we delve into inspiring texts and collectively strive to understand and contribute to positive social change.
This book club is organised by the Centre for Social Impact Alumni committee but studying social impact is absolutely not a prerequisite for joining.

Welcome to our Social Impact Bookclub!
This is a place where those interested in social impact - whether it be through work, study or a general interest, can come together and chat about relevant texts in the field. This will be our third meeting and each time, we've seen new and familiar faces and had some great discussions over coffee and food.
Join us for our August meeting where we will be discussing a book suggested by one of our members, Utopia for Realists: How we can build the ideal world by Rutger Bregman. I'm really looking forward to this one, so thanks for the suggestion!
For a bonus point, last meeting we were discussing the option of including journal articles as well to discuss, and so to kick this off I suggest one that may align with the book for this meeting - Danger and Opportunity: Crisis and the New Social Economy by Robin Murray. This is completely optional so don't worry if this doesn't appeal.
