About us
Welcome to our Social Impact Book Club in Perth Western Australia! We have such a thriving social impact community here in Perth, and we're hoping to build on that to have some fun and discuss interesting, thought-provoking texts on any topic related to social impact.
Whether you're passionate about making a difference or simply curious about the field, our book club aims to offer a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share insights, and foster meaningful conversations.
Join us as we delve into inspiring texts and collectively strive to understand and contribute to positive social change.
This book club is organised by the Centre for Social Impact Alumni committee but studying social impact is absolutely not a prerequisite for joining.

Social Impact Book Club - March meeting
Millpoint Caffe Bookshop, 254 Mill Point Road, South Perth WA 6151, Perth, AUThis March, our Social Impact bookclub marks almost a year of bookclubbing! To celebrate, we will be reading and getting stuck into discussing, Sand Talk: How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World, Tyson Yunkaporta's first book. When I read this one a few years ago, I wished I had a group to discuss it with, so I'm really looking forward to re-reading it and seeing what all our lovely members think of this one.
We'll also be looping back to one of our favourite lunch venues, the Millpoint Caffe Bookshop in South Perth. They did really great food here, so it is perfect for a bite to eat and a good chat.
Where: Millpoint Caffe Bookshop
When: 29th March 2026
Time: 12:30 - 2:30pmI hope to see all our regular faces and maybe welcome some new ones to the group.
