Social Impact Book Club - May meeting
Details
This month, our Social Impact Book Club is diving into Moral Ambition by an author we've read before - Rutger Bregman. This is a thought‑provoking and surprisingly practical read about using our time, skills, and work to do some real good in the world.
This book asks some big but relatable questions: What does “success” actually mean? How much impact can one person really have? And how do we line up what we care about with what we do every day?
Join us for an open, curious discussion about the ideas in the book and how they connect to our own lives and work.
Bring your thoughts, questions, and a willingness to explore how we might make a positive difference.
We'll be meeting at a lovely little cafe in Kingsley, within Waldecks Garden Centre. We're right next to Lake Goollelal , and for those interested we might take a walk down to the lake after our discussion.
Where: Lakeview Cafe, Kingsley
When: Sunday 31st May 2026
Time: 12:30 - 2:30pm
I hope to see all our regular faces and maybe welcome some new ones to the group.
As always, if you would like to come along and the spots are all filled, please send me a message as the platform limits the amount of people who can attend to 10, however we can always fit more in :)
