So a few weeks ago we "bid summer adieu" with our Ice Ice Baby event at Kirby Ice House. Now that Fall is officially upon us ,,,,, up next ,,,,,OKTOBERFEST !!! Now as our "regular readers" know ,,,,we celebrate Oktoberfest every year at Saint Arnold's Brewery as one of our Saturday night events. And it's coming up this Saturday, Oct. 3rd. So what to do on the Wednesday before ,,,,hmmmmm. Well, we haven't been to Karbach since last October, and a midweek hang at the brewery sounds like a good way to prepare ourselves for Saturday night. So let's PRE-GAME Oktoberfest THIS WEDNESDAY AT KARBACH BREWING COMPANY !!!!

For those that are new, when it comes to brewing, this craft brewery's motto is "CRAFTED FOR FUN" !! And they live up to their name with a variety of uniquely crafted IPAs and Lagers - including Love Street, Rodeo Clown, Hopadillo and ,,,,my personal favorite ,,,,, Crawford Bock 🍻😍😋😎.

In addition, they also have a kitchen that "won't quit" - with a menu that includes such diverse offerings as Korean Fried Chicken, Ahi Tuna Tacos and Prosciutto & Brie Sandwiches, as well as a large selection of salads, burgers and pizzas.

So whether you've been before or this is your first time, COME ON OUT AND PRE-GAME OKTOBERFEST THIS WEDNESDAY, grab some drinks and a bite to eat and enjoy a chance to connect with other people during the week !

"BAD A** PATIO | BIG CREEK VIEWS | BIG TIME FUN" ,,,,,,and for anyone familiar with the bars & restaurants along West 20th Street in the Heights, this "modest self assessment" on Cedar Creek's website pretty well hits the mark. Designed with an Austin/Hill Country vibe, Cedar Creek has a large outdoor seating area with an awesome view of ,,,,,you guessed it ,,,, a large creek surrounded by rolling hills (well ,,,rolling hills by Houston standards 🙂) that leads up to the main restaurant made of ,,,again you guessed it ,,,,,,cedar 🙂. So this week, let's take an opportunity to enjoy a midweek hang at this "hill country inspired restaurant" that has been a Houston staple since 2006.

But what's on the menu you ask (besides fun 🙂🙂) ????? - a host of Americana classics - burgers, chicken tenders, tacos, brisket, crispy house salads, etc. ,,,,which can all be washed down with a selection of beer (30 on tap), wine and cocktails ,,,,,which can then in turn all be topped off with a brownie and ice cream for dessert !!!
