Team Speed Puzzling
Teams of 4 will race to complete a 500pc mystery jigsaw puzzle. The competition puzzle is yours to keep. The first team to finish will win eternal glory and their choice of THREE additional new puzzles! Another lucky team will be selected at random to win THREE additional new puzzles as well!Space is limited so reserve yours today. No experience necessary, it’s all for funsies :)
Competition will start at 1:30pm. Check-in opens at 1:00pm. Please arrive no later than 1:15pm.
Register as individuals or a pre-made team
You can register as an individual by simply signing up and paying for a single entry ($15). We will randomly assign you to a team.To make up your own team, have each member sign up individually and mention a common team name or other teammates' names at check-out. You can also sign up as a pair or a trio, and we will fill your team as needed.
If you intend to enter as a full team, or if you are only 2 or 3 people and do not wish to be assigned additional teammates, you can sign up with +3 guests to buy out a 4-person team entry.
Casual Puzzling Corner
We got a spot for you too if you just want to relax with some casual puzzling at your own pace. This is FREE for everyone to enjoy, no need to register, just walk in! Bring a puzzling friend or make new ones!Puzzle Swap
Bring your own gently used yet greatly loved puzzles and add to the self-serve swap table, then find new favourites to take home.Puzzle for a Cause!
We help the non-profit group, Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library, check donated puzzles for completeness before they go on sale to raise money for the library. You can participate by checking out a puzzle to finish at home, and returning it at the next event.Questions or comments?

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, two teams will go head-to-head in an epic speed puzzling race to complete the 7,000-piece Ravensburger puzzle “The Six Portals” by the amazing Rose Cat Khan — all in one afternoon!
- 💙 NorCal Team meets in Sunnyvale, CA
- 🧡 SoCal Team meets in Fountain Valley, CA
- Official simultaneous countdown begins at 11:00 AM
- Goal: Finish by 6:00 PM
- Live streams projected in both locations so each team can track the other’s progress in real time
This is more than a puzzle — it’s strategy, stamina, teamwork, and serious bragging rights.
Whether you’re a speed puzzler, a sorting specialist, or just love the thrill of collaborative competition, we want you on the team!
The event is FREE to join! However, pre-registration is required. The NorCal team will be meeting in Sunnyvale. We will share the exact location in your confirmation email closer to the event date.
Our official team color is BLUE (vs. orange in SoCal / Orange County). Feel free to dress and accessorize accordingly! :)
Light refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to bring beverages or snacks to share, potluck style!
