We’re a social running community aiming to create meaningful connections by uniting people from all walks of life through a shared love of running. We have fun, build friendships and improve ourselves through running, social events and volunteer activities. Join us and make strides with friends!

Central Park Thursday AM Rise & Run

Join us for a Social Striders Thursday Morning Rise and Run in Central Park! We typically run 2-4 miles around the reservoir and sometimes up to 6 miles (in cooler months). But you can also run or walk however much you’d like 😁. All paces and people with good vibes are welcome. We’ll do a quick stretch promptly at 7am and then head straight out to the run. Post run coffee/refreshment not required, but if you have the time, we usually get coffee after the run. Questions or comments - feel free to message me directly or comment below. See you Thursday!

Central Park Saturday Run and Coffee Talk

Set the right tone for the weekend by joining us for a 2, 3, or 4 mile run around beautiful Central Park.

Post-run, join us for some coffee talk in the park or at a local cafe.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME - ALL PACES
Runners are encouraged to go their own speed and/or to modify any of the routes to meet their goals and needs.
We have runners of all paces and typical paces range between 9:00-11:00 min/mile

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
- Please RSVP. If you cannot attend, please update your attendance for the event - registering not only helps the algorithm, it helps us know who's to look out for.
- Dress according to the weather and stay hydrated.

While we aim to leave no runner behind, each of us is ultimately responsible for ourselves. Make sure you have access to the route maps in case you get separated from the group. We will always meet back at the lawn before heading for coffee.

What better way to finish a weekend than detox with a brisk Sunday morning run followed by some coffee and food in Central Park with great company.

Run with us and choose between a scenic 2, 3, or 4 mile loop around the southern portion of Central Park followed by some coffee and a bite to eat. All paces are welcome and encouraged.
