Welcome to Social Tennis Johannesburg! 🎾
Whether you’ve never held a racquet before, haven’t played since school, or simply want a fun, active hit without the pressure of strict club tournaments, this group is for you.
We play casual, social tennis where missed shots and double faults are completely normal. Our goal is simple: have fun, get a good workout, and meet great people.

What to Expect:
Zero-Pressure Play: We focus on fun rallies, easy mini-games, and casual doubles rotations so everyone gets time on court.
No Gear? No Problem: If you don’t own a racquet or balls, don't worry. We always have spares to share—just bring sports shoes and a bottle of water.
Weekly Sessions: We hit regular social sessions on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at Darrenwood Tennis Club (Republic Road).
Affordable & Accessible: Court fees are just R50 per person paid to the club on the day.
