Year-End Book Talk

📚Dear book club friends,

As the year draws to a close, let’s gather for our very first informal book-chat event—a cozy, spirited celebration of the stories that moved us, challenged us, or made us want to throw the book across the room.

Whether you’ve read a masterpiece or a mess, this is your moment to share. And for those who signed up for the book Maus event—I owe you a proper discussion, and we’ll make space for that too.

Please bring your book (physical or digital) and be ready to:

1. Introduce it to the group in about 5 minutes so everyone gets time to speak and listen.
2. Share why it stood out, whether you loved it, hated it, or simply felt the need to talk about it, along with a brief plot summary.
3. Exchange books with one another if you wish!

To keep the conversation rich and intimate, attendance will be capped at 20 participants.

I’d also love to hear your ideas for how we can make this book club even better in the year ahead—rituals, formats, themes, anything that sparks joy.
