Full day Social Data Training/Workshop - Extended learning

Thank you to everyone who completed our survey on Social Data Training. We have received great feedback, this feedback has enabled us to design a social data training day tailored to our group's learning requirements.

On the training day you will learn how to get the most from your data, whether you work in data science, technology, digital services, marketing or PR.

No programming or technical experience is required to attend the training.

• Big data and social data introduction
• Data governance and ethics
• Hands-on practical workshops - deep analysis of successful Twitter social data projects (with guest speakers)
• Data mashups (social data plus other data-sets)
• Social data measurement and success factors
• A University of Cambridge - Data Researcher will present:
  i) MyPersonality – a psychometric experiment with Facebook social data
  ii) Data preparation and data cleaning challenges
  iii) Machine learning and R
