Welcome to Social Fun!

For over 15 years, we’ve been one of the largest and most active Meetup groups in New England, bringing together both locals and newcomers. Whether you're looking to meet new people, explore the area, or just have a good time, this group is here to help. Membership is free, but donations are always appreciated since running the group does come with costs.

We’re always looking for great people and their ideas to keep us going. If you have something in mind for an event, let’s talk!

Quick heads-up:

We have no control over DMs sent through Meetup. While we strongly discourage unsolicited business or romantic messages, we can’t prevent them. If a member of this group sends you anything unwanted, feel free to reach out. Meetup is meant to build in-person connections, and we appreciate everybody helping to keep it respectful.

⚡ Fun Dodgeball Rules ⚡
1️⃣ Have Fun!
🎉 This is a casual, friendly event, so bring the energy and enjoy the game! Let’s keep it light and fun!
2️⃣ Headshots Don’t Count!
❌ Hits above the neck? Not an elimination! We’re all about the action below the neck — so aim low and have fun!
3️⃣ Catching is Cool!
👐 Catches only count if you grab the ball before it touches the ground, wall, or hits another player. Timing is EVERYTHING! ⏱️
4️⃣ Blocking – Be Careful!
⚠️ Using the ball to block? If it falls from your hands or hits your fingers, you’re OUT! Be strategic!
5️⃣ Stay Within the Boundaries!
🚫 Step out of bounds, and you’re disqualified. Stay inside the lines to stay in the game! Keep your footing!
7️⃣ Opening Rush – It’s a Race!
🏃‍♂️ At the start, grab the balls only on your right side! To throw, the ball must clear the designated cone first — no shortcuts!
8️⃣ Quick Throws, Fast Moves!
⏰ You’ve got 10-15 seconds to throw the ball and keep the action moving — no time to waste!
9️⃣ Rule Adjustments
🔄 Rules may be adjusted on the fly for an even better experience! Let’s keep it fair and fun for everyone.

Join the Fresh Pond Walking Community for our regular Sunday walk around Fresh Pond.

Let's join regular walkers from surrounding towns members of five other walking groups and 20 walkers for this walk. Walk is on, Rain or Shine.

Few things are more enjoyable than a nice walk and a chat at the end of a busy weekend.

Since May 2012, we've met with a few other meetup groups Let's join for a stroll in a beautiful setting. We walk clockwise, so if you get there late, just start walking counter-clockwise and you'll run into us.

Parking on Huron and Aberdeen Avenue is easy, since the "Permit Parking" rules don't apply on Sunday - just park in any spot on Huron Ave, there will be plenty of them.

If you're coming by bus, take the 71 or 73 bus from Harvard Square and get off at Aberdeen Ave. Walk all the way up Aberdeen until you come to Huron Avenue, we'll be there.

Dogs and children are welcome, not necessarily in that order. Dogs that are not licensed in Cambridge must be leashed.

Sunday Soul series #2: DVinci Soul at Warehouse XI in Union Square!

DVinci Soul will return to the fabulous Warehouse XI (WXI) in Union Square, Somerville on Sunday, October 19th for an early evening of “SUNDAY SOUL" where you will enjoy one long dance set of Motown, Soul and Classic R&B, beginning a little after 5:00 pm. Cocktails, mocktails and light snacks will be available.

WXI is a beautiful spot for LISTENING, GATHERING with friends, and most of all, DANCING. 2,000 square feet, cool lighting, crisp, clear sound.
