Fun Recreational Softball. Every Wednesday !!!
This is a CO-ED, weekly softball game. Fun, friendly people get together and play mostly D league recreational ball on the Esplanade. This game has been going on for over 10 years, it's fun, low key and friendly. We have mostly a full roster, there is space for a few players (6-8), we are looking for both male and female players... We have one more week of practice, Games begin in May 7th and continue thru July. Fee for playing is $62 for the season (about $6 per week). If you want to see what we are all about and drop in and play a game or 2 , just sign up and let me know or join for the season. Bats, bases, field and umpire fees are included. Games are 645-815pm, arrive 15min before to warm up and get on a roster... I make a weather call (if necessary) Wednesday Mornings. Also, very important note, if you do not have the message feature of meetup turned on I will have to move you to the "waitlist". Thanks. -Jay

## Easy Hike Mine Falls Nashua NH. & drinks & food, Sunday May 4th. 1 pm to 3ish pm. At the END of Coliseum Ave. to the Lincoln Park entrance, Nashua, NH. Food & or drinks after 3:30 pm @ Shorty's. THIS EVENT IS GOING ON RAIN or SHINE! THIS IS A DOG & CHILD FRIENDLY EVENT. You can not see all of the RSVPs. This event is cross posted with two other Groups. Join us at anytime. If you can't make it at 1 pm I will have my phone on, call or text me. The trails crisscross each other so you can usually meet us on the trail. You can also just join us at 3:30 pm. for food & drinks after the hike, at Shorty's. It is less than a half mile from our hike in the Nashua Mall parking lot. This hike is an easy hike on mostly paved trails at Mine Falls Park in Nashua.

Please note, this is not a race. Our intent is to enjoy nature and the views of the area. We will be hiking at a chatting speed along the way. This event is meant more to just get out, than to get a really good workout. This can be a 1.5 mile or 3.5 or 5.2 mile hike. We will enjoy nature for about an hour an half to a max of three hours, with a breaks/stops along the trail. This park is just full of beautiful views and history and very close to the highway. So, come and enjoy some fresh air, beautiful views, rain or shine, all this while in good company of some new and old friends.

We will meet at 1:00 pm in the parking lot at the end of Coliseum Ave, which is off of Rte 130 at exit 6, off of rt. 3, in Nashua NH.

DIRECTIONS: Take exit 6 from Route 3 (Route 130) and go about a a 1000 feet west towards Brookline NH., take a left at the next traffic light past the entrance to the shopping center area (Coliseum Ave), go all the way to the end of the road for the parking lot. Look for the meetup sign.

Warning!!!! The ticks are very bad this year. So, keep out of the high grass. Use bug pray on your pants and pull your sucks over your pants.

Please remember to bring sun screen, bug spray and plenty of fluids. Dress in layers, so that you will be comfortable the whole time we are out on the trails.
If anyone cares to join us after the hike we plan to go to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink, or hot chocolate, at nearby Shorty's restaurant or we can the other event going on. For Shorty's turn off of Coliseum Ave. in between the Coat Factory & Home Depot. At the end is Shorty's. Ask for Meetup at the restaurant.

Join the Fresh Pond Walking Community for our regular Sunday walk around Fresh Pond.

Let's join regular walkers from surrounding towns members of five other walking groups and 20 walkers for this walk. Walk is on, Rain or Shine.

Few things are more enjoyable than a nice walk and a chat at the end of a busy weekend.

Since May 2012, we've met with a few other meetup groups Let's join for a stroll in a beautiful setting. We walk clockwise, so if you get there late, just start walking counter-clockwise and you'll run into us.

Parking on Huron and Aberdeen Avenue is easy, since the "Permit Parking" rules don't apply on Sunday - just park in any spot on Huron Ave, there will be plenty of them.

If you're coming by bus, take the 71 or 73 bus from Harvard Square and get off at Aberdeen Ave. Walk all the way up Aberdeen until you come to Huron Avenue, we'll be there.

Dogs and children are welcome, not necessarily in that order. Dogs that are not licensed in Cambridge must be leashed.
