Welcome to the all-new Social in Sussex Meetup! Like our sister group Coastal Socials, we love Southern Delaware!  Our focus in this group is to create and maintain a community of passionate locals dedicated to making a tangible difference right here in Sussex County, Delaware.
If you are looking for a fun, social, and meaningful way to give back to your community, you have found the right group. We bridge the gap between people who want to help and the local non-profits, charities, and community organizations that need our support.
What We Do:
We offer a mix of hands-on volunteering and social fundraising events. We gather to support the incredible work already happening in our coastal and inland towns.

• Social Connections: Every event is an opportunity to meet like-minded neighbors, make new friends, and network with community leaders.
• Volunteer Days: We roll up our sleeves for beach cleanups, food pantry distribution, community builds, and animal shelter support.
• Fundraisers & Galas: We attend local charity galas, benefit concerts, 5Ks and other events to help raise crucial funds for local causes.

Who Should Join:
Everyone! Whether you are a lifelong Sussex County resident, a recent retiree to the area, or someone looking to expand your social circle while doing good, you are welcome here. We welcome all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. No prior volunteering experience or fundraising is required—just a positive attitude and a desire to strengthen our community!
