Societe Magnifique initial meeting

Welcome to our first event. As an initial group meeting this will be more of a casual mixer with small conversation groupings to help define community expectations.
Our initial conversation topic is: What would an ideal meetup look like? How would you modify Meetup features like venue, communication channels and featured topics to make the experience better? Can intentional communities succeed? How have any meetups that you have previously attended either met or fell short of your expectations and why? How exacting should Meetup topics be- from a well defined topic like reference to a particular philosopher's specific book-or- simply an open category, like general health or even speaking to human equity?
The hope is that by getting a sense of where people's interests lie it will be possible to match people to individualized events at the Bush St. property.
