About us
The Society's Intelligences Meetup invites the philosophically minded, the politically engaged, personality type enthusiasts, faith communities, researchers, and anyone curious about the forces that shape human cooperation and conflict. Participants are invited to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and contribute to the development of new ideas about human difference, society, and the common good.
Sponsored by the Center for Society's Intelligences, this Meetup serves as a public space for exploring one of humanity's oldest questions: How does society best enable human beings to flourish?
Society's Intelligences draws inspiration from a long tradition of thinkers—including Plato, Jung, and Keirsey—who recognized that people can be understood through identifiable patterns that influence how they perceive, decide, and contribute to society. Building on this tradition, Society's Intelligences proposes that healthy societies depend upon four distinct intelligences. While every person possesses all four, each of us naturally tends to lead with one or two, shaping how we understand society, approach problems, and contribute to the common good.
The Center for Society's Intelligences seeks to make this framework accessible to everyday people—not simply as another personality model, but as a practical way of understanding why we differ, why those differences matter, and how recognizing our complementary societal roles can strengthen both individual well-being and society as a whole.
Whether exploring philosophy, politics, religion, personality, or current events, our conversations are grounded in curiosity, respectful dialogue, and the belief that dignity and well-being are strengthened when we better understand both ourselves and the society we are helping to create.
