Welcome to the Sofia Casual Ping-Pong & Social Mixer!
What is the group's purpose?
The goal of this group is simple: to step away from our screens, get some fresh air, and enjoy a relaxed game of table tennis in Sofia's beautiful parks. This isn't a highly competitive sports club; it is a social mixer built around a fun, easy-going activity to help us disconnect from complex daily work routines.
Who are we hoping to meet?
Expats, international professionals, and friendly locals who are looking for a low-pressure environment to meet new people. Whether you are a total beginner who just wants to hit the ball around, or a seasoned player, you are completely welcome.
What will we do at our events?
We will gather at the public ping-pong tables in parks like South Park or Zaimov Park. We'll play casual singles or doubles, switch partners frequently to keep the conversation flowing, and just hang out. If the tables happen to be full when we arrive, we will simply grab a coffee, sit on the grass, and enjoy a good chat while we wait for our turn.
Important Note: Since we will be using public park tables, please bring your own racket and a ping-pong ball! We can share, but the more equipment we have, the better.
