👋 Hi, I’m Maria Stoyanova, a Bulgarian feeling like an expat in my own country. I am a digital nomad and I travel a lot, I write for Lonely Planet about Bulgaria, and I live among foreigners all the time.This newsletter is my mission to make life for expats in Sofia a tiny bit easier – and more fun. In my free time, you'll find me spending a snowboarding winter season in Japan, Georgia or Kyrgyzstan, or surfing in the Canaries.

Join us for a Sofia Expats picnic in Borisova Garden – meet expats and locals, make friends, play some games and enjoy a slow Saturday in the park.

Borisova Garden, entrance via Ariana lake
We'll share the exact location after registration.

Community Guidelines:
✨ Be nice to everyone. We try to create anopen minded and friendly atmosphere.
☀️ If you're coming solo, no worries. Send me a message in advance and I'll make sure you feel welcomed.
📸 Photos will be taken during the event for marketing purposes. If you don't want to be part, please tell us on arrival.

☔️ In case of bad weather, we'll cancel the event and full refund will be made.
