Welcome to SoFlo Friends that's all about smaller, more intimate gatherings! The group is for down to earth people in their 30s, 40s and 50s looking to make meaningful friendships while exploring all S. Florida has to offer. If you’re up for relaxing, sharing laughs, and discovering new places, come and join us!
This isn't a singles group. You do not have to be single to join! The primary purpose of this meetup is to build friendships. If you meet your future significant other that is fine but it should happen organically and you must invite me to the wedding, lol. ***Disrespecting and inappropriate behavior is not acceptable for this group. Any members aggressively hitting on other members whether in person or through meetup messages will be removed. The purpose of this meetup is for building friendships , its not for using your pick up lines whether cheesy or not !
Just a quick note: members may be removed for long periods of inactivity, frequent cancellations, or no-shows. If you can't make it to a reserved table at a dinner, you might be removed after the first offense, so please only sign up for events you’re excited to attend! This is not personal, its to ensure a positive experience for all members!
When you request to join you must check your Meetup messages within the next few days. If we do not know you, you will be asked to provide your Facebook profile. This is not shared with the group. If you do not have a Facebook profile we can figure out an alternative. This is for safety and to make sure the meetup profile requesting to join is authentic.
This may seem like a lot but I am trying to create a unique meetup group that is safe for everyone. It will be worth it in the long run!
