Brunch Book Club theme: MONSTERS

Happy spooktober! This is Halloween II, starring my favorite book club, and we are reading about the creatures that inhabit our nightmares.
The Brunch Book Club is an English-speaking book club that meets monthly over brunch. The meetings are theme-based, meaning that instead of choosing a specific book to read, each meetup has a theme, and each participant will then read a book that fits the prompt.
This Halloween, the theme is MONSTERS. So check under your bed twice, and come to Robert Delselius with your most terrifying depiction of a monster.
If you signed up but can no longer attend, change your status to 'not going' as soon as possible. No-shows would be chased around the village by an angry mob of peasants with pitchforks. The event is free; however, you have to order something from the menu at the café.
