Kubernetes 101 with Marcial White

Kubernetes 101 - Learn how containers work, why they're only half the virtualization puzzle, and orchestrate them in the cloud with the bleeding edge stack: Kubernetes. The hands-on labs will culminate as a (semi) production-ready Terraform-based construction of a Kubernetes stack at the cloud provider AWS. We'll host an Internet radio station using a custom-built pod consisting of three containers: icecast, mpd and ympd, and demonstrate the self-healing abilities of the system. Finally, we'll discuss productionization techniques for various service providers.
