Linux Camp: Grinder Edition

Details

This is going to be hard, but for the right sort of geeks, it is going to be hard fun.

Gary and I want to refresh our LFCS certifications to get ready to deliver a Linux Sysadmin Study Group in 2020. So, we decided that we're going to grind through the Linux Camp materials in two days.

We decided that if anyone would like to suffer along with us, and pay for the privilege, you're weird, but you're welcome and wanted. For $512, you'll get half a hotel room for Saturday night, enough snacks, pizza, coffee, and beer to sustain you through two days of serious grunt-work, and a free pass to the aforementioned study group.

Does not include: Johnny Cash, frisbee, hiking, Heather's cooking, sunshine, or fresh mountain air.

Does include: All the labs, and two helpful experts to keep you unstuck.

Topics covered: hardware inpection, shell scripting, users, groups, file permissions, package management, services and settings, networking, storage with LVM, virtualization with KVM, the LAMP stack, and so on.

We'll do labs at Peterson's and sleep at Home2 Suites by Hilton.
