- Jeffrey S. Haemer - A Bit of Bash: Comparative Computer Linguistics
- Chris Fedde - Incus Containers are better (than LXD + LXC)
- Open Mic: Your own show-and-tell or question
Bring:
- A machine, preferably Linux
- A question or an idea
- Maybe a show and tell
Event Details:
There is a value for value ask of most events, this month is:
Pay what we ask: $16 https://paypal.me/sfs303/16
Or, pay what you choose: [pwyc@sofree.us](http://mailto:pwyc@sofree.us)
[ If this your first time, show up, see if you like it, and decide our value then. No one will be turned away for lack of payment. ]
This is a hybrid event, in-person preferred.
When you register, you'll be asked whether you're planning to participate in-person or online. We need to know so we can plan seats and snacks.
We use Big Blue Button (it's like Zoom) for our online classroom:
- We also have Mattermost for sharing notes, leaving links, and messaging.
Doors and BBB open at 8:30am.
Those that get there early will take a vote for the rally track before presentations begin (to let everyone know the show is beginning and to take a seat or turn up volume):

Want to learn bash? It's different. I'll say why. Here are my slides.
