Configuration Management with Ansible
Details
Ansible is for Configuration Management (CM) - configuring infrastructure to host applications or to conform to policy.
Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Salt are better than shell for CM because they're easier to write and to read.
Ansible is better than Puppet and Salt because it's lighter and equally capable.
I use Ansible to:
- add sysadmins and authorized keys
- patch and reboot machines
- install Docker with Compose
- deploy apps
If that sounds like fun, join me, David Willson, for a few hours on Saturday morning while we talk and play with Ansible.
This will be an expert-led, hands-on class, and the price will be 64 USD or PWYC.
