Jack of all trades, master of none, Alexandru Dejanu is a Software Engineer with 7 years of experience in various domains such as Automotive, Telecom, and Banking. Opinionated and tech agnostic, loves helping others and sharing knowledge, be it on StackOverflow, HackerNoon, or Medium.

In his presentation, Alex will offer an understanding of the cloud-native landscape and cost management by sharing valuable insights and lessons learned. Additionally, he's going to touch upon the current state of the industry's tech stack.

✅ Irina Costachescu - Software Engineer at NXP Semiconductors

The complexity of Embedded Software Applications is significantly increasing, with the number of lines of code in today's systems, such as cars, industrial machinery, airplanes, trains, and medical devices, in the order of millions. This is driving the need for embedded software engineers to work at higher levels of abstraction and to move to model-centric development workflows, such as Model-Based Design, defined as 'The systematic use of models throughout the development process'.

In her presentation, Irina will discuss about how NXP's hardware-aware ecosystem of optimized drivers, libraries, and tools can be integrated with the MathWorks (Matlab and Simulink) environment. The MathWorks solutions enable the Model-Based Design paradigm advantages, allowing translating ideas into Simulink models, for which functionalities such as simulation, verification and validation, and automatic code generation are enabled.
