Upcycle Piano Craft hosts "happy hour" concerts in their showroom on the first Tuesday of the month. FREE beverages from the Restless Distillery and light snacks included (though make sure to tip the bartender - they take cash and Venmo).
The music starts at 4:30 and runs until around 7:30 (though we do not have to stay the whole time).

This month's show features Bramm Wijnand's Swingtet
I'll be there around 5:15 (feel free to go earlier). I'll hang out in the back of the showroom, so you can find me (I have a small sign that says "Meetup Group").
Around 7:30, when the music ends, we can head to Westport for some dinner (Bistro 303 is close and quite good). You are welcome to meet us for dinner if you can't make it to the show - check the Meetup website the day of the show for time and location.

PARKING NOTE: Upcycle is on the east side of Main St, across from Westport Rd. There's a wedge-shaped parking lot that you can access from 40th St.

Engaging others with empathy, respect, and understanding is essential at a time when both national headlines and personal conversations have become louder, harsher, and more polarized. Panel discussion moderated by Linda Lorelle. Panelists include Jay Sexton, director of the Kinder Institute, and students working to foster civil discourse on college campuses, leading with vulnerability, openness, and the belief that dialogue — even if difficult — still makes a difference.
