# 'Rehab: An American Scandal'
GUESTS ARE WELCOME
Note that the program starts at 6 pm, the library hosts a reception beginning at 5:30 with wine and nice snacks.
You are welcome to join us for dinner if you can't make the program.
"Pulitzer Prize finalist Shoshana Walter joins investigative journalist Christopher Leonard or a discussion of her new book, Rehab: An American Scandal, about the country’s failed response to the opioid crisis, and the malfeasance, corruption, and snake oil that blight the drug rehabilitation industry. Four poignant stories illustrate the pitfalls of America’s flawed drug rehabilitation system and offer insight into how the system itself might be rehabbed to save lives." This is part of the library's Watchdog series.
Meet at the back of the room after the program - I will have a small sign that says "Meetup Group." We can walk over to the restaurant for a light bite after the program (Pizza 51 or KinLin, whichever we prefer).
