# The Martians: The True Story of an Alien Craze That Captured Turn-of-the-Century America

GUESTS ARE WELCOME
Note that the program starts at 6 pm, the library hosts a reception beginning at 5:30 with wine and nice snacks.

You are welcome to join us for dinner if you can't make the program.

"In his new book The Martians: The True Story of an Alien Craze That Captured Turn-of-the-Century America, journalist, broadcaster, and public speaker David Baron examines how Mars gripped the public imagination, and why many believed there was intelligent life on the Red Planet."

Meet at the back of the room after the program - I will have a small sign that says "Meetup Group." We can walk over to the restaurant for a light bite after the program (Milwaukee Deli is one block away).
