The Museum of Kansas City is holding its 12th annual Día de los Muertos celebration of the history and cultural traditions of Mexico:

• Live music by Mariachi Estrella KC
• Puppetry by Stone Lion Puppet Theatre
• Live dance performances by Grupo Folklorico Izcalli
• Bring a note or small item to add to the indoor or outdoor community altars to remember someone who passed away (items placed at the altar will not be returned).

Tickets required: buy here "Pay What You Like" (totally your discretion) sold in sets of 2 (2, 4, 6)

Bring a lawn chair or blanket. There are food trucks - I'm planning to arrive when the event starts at 5pm, to get food and a drink early, before the lines get long.
