Doors open at 5 PM for drinks (free drink ticket with admission); the program starts at 5:30 with a tour by museum co-founder Deb Pettid focusing on the art of Arnold Lobel, Jon Muth, Kazue Mizumura, and Taro Yashima, all who were inspired by nature and the passing of time; then attendees will make their own nature diorama in a guided craft session which includes light refreshments.
After the craft session, there is time to explore the museum and the book shop, which close at 7:30.
$25 admission ticket includes a drink ticket, snacks, and a $5 book voucher to use at the museum book shop.
