Cooking Class - Pozole Verde
Details
As of Sunday, 5/3, it looks as though this class is full, so I am activating a waitlist on Meetup to try to reflect that. Anyone still interested in attending should check back at cookshopon8th.com repeatedly to see if cancellations have created any openings. If I discover any openings myself, I will DM people on our waitlist.
Pozole Verde is a traditional Mexican soup made with tender chicken, hominy, and a rich green broth blended from tomatillos, fresh herbs, chiles, and garlic. Learn how to build layers of flavor and garnish your bowl with crisp cabbage, radishes, lime, and more for the perfect balance of bright, savory, and comforting. We’ll finish the class with paletas for dessert.
You must register and pay $55 at cookshopon8th.com . This is a public event. As of this announcement on May 1, only a few spots remain open, so if you have any interest, I recommend that you act soon. Reimbursements (less $5) are available for cancelled reservations.
We can organize a private cooking class event for SOL members and guests at this location later in the summer. (See my 4/26/2026 Discussion thread -- my original entry and my subsequent Replies -- at https://www.meetup.com/sol-single-old-liberals/discussions/ .)
