Membership Mtg / Annual Solar Photo Contest/Program: West Highland Way, Scotland

Join us for our General Membership meeting to see what we are all about. You do not need to be a member to attend the meeting.

This meeting is held the last Tuesday of each month (except for June (our annual picnic is held instead) and December (our holiday party is held instead).

Our general membership meeting is followed by a different and exciting program or presentation each month, beginning around 7:30 PM.

Program - 2 events:

#1 - Leslie Cordova and Bob Tacy will present their trek on the West Highland Way trail in Scotland.

#2 - "Annual Solar Photo Contest".
Come share your photographic skills while having the opportunity to win a gift card prize and a free membership!!!
Rules:

1. You must be a current member of Solar Outdoors*
2. Photo must be current, taken since January 1, 2025
3. You may enter a maximum of 1 (one) photo in each category
4. You must bring a print of your entry to the January 27th meeting for display#
5. You must register your entry at 6:45pm, Tuesday, January 27th, before meeting start
6. Solar Outdoors members in attendance will vote for the winners
7. The Photo Contest Committee will determine the winners based on the voting and allowing for unique winners for each category. You can only win once!
8. The Photo Contest Committee reserves the right to remove photos that may be offensive, copied, or otherwise unsuitable. Photos may also be recategorized as necessary.
   *you can join January 27th prior to the 7pm meeting start. Dues must be paid to qualify.
   #print size cannot exceed 8x10, all will be laid flat on table by category for judging
   The categories are:
   · SOLAR friends -at a workshop, on an activity, or just being together
   · Humor -anything that might make us laugh (in good taste, please!)
   · Wildlife -with a creature in pic
   · Waterscape -anything with water as main focus or most of photo
   · Landscape -doesn’t have water in it
