Solar General Membership Meeting/Program: Cycling Tours (by Jim Plaunt)

Join us for our General Membership meeting to see what we are all about. You do not need to be a member to attend the meeting.

This meeting is held the last Tuesday of each month (except for June (our annual picnic is held instead) and December (our holiday party is held instead).

Our general membership meeting is followed by a different and exciting program or presentation each month, beginning around 7:30 PM.

Join us for a presentation by Jim Plaunt of Bike Tour Vacations on weekend and week long cycling tours throughout Michigan, the Midwest and Pennsylvania just to name a few.

Jim will also be bringing with him a colleague who will speak about upcoming bikepacking tours.

Jim has been cycling his entire life. First around his neighborhoods, then on to bike racing and endurance events, and most recently as a tourist. Jim grew up in Duluth, MN and has lived in Dexter, Michigan since 1990, giving him a thorough background in the geography and history of the region.
He’s also a cheese maker.
