Hike at Maybury State Park (summer weekly series)

Join host, Glenn Schultz, for a hike at Maybury State Park!
Glenn will be making these hikes a weekly event this summer except for over the July 4th weekend.

For variety, during this summer, our trail route will change on occasional weekends but the mileage will remain approximately the same.

I will arrive earlier so that we may gather at the trail head sign by the pavilion at the parking lot that is located to the right when one drives into the park via the main 8 Mile Rd entrance road and then turns right at T intersection.

You can bring any size & weight backpack/daypack that you want, or no pack at all as long as you carry your own water.

You will recognize me by my orange backpack and my orange baseball cap.

I will be hiking rain or shine, except during thunderstorms.

Enter the park off of the Eight Mile Entrance and take the road to the far right parking lot. Meet at the trailhead pavilion.

Hiking distance will be approximately 4 miles at an easy 2MPH pace.
