Morning Hike near Pretoria East

The Hazeldean farm situated on the banks of the Pienaars river was founded in the early 1940's and the historic old farm buildings are a testament to the history and heritage that surounds the area. Hazeldean Valley is at the heart of what was once the home of South Africa’s biggest Ayrshire herd at the time: the herd that founded the Woolworths Ayrshire brand of delicious dairy products in 1988. It is also home to the Cowhouse Market, Hazeldean Valley Trails and the Hazeldean Brewing Co.
