Morning Hike near Pretoria

Situated in the northern part of Tshwane. The reserve is famous for its magnificent wild fig tree called the “Wonderboom” around which the reserve is centered.
More than 1 000 years old, legend has it that the chief of a tribe is buried beneath the tree’s roots. Over the years the tree branches have grown so long that it has produced a further three daughter trees and is a sight to behold.
