Sani Pass Backpackers Lodge is an exceptional base camp for multi-day hiking in the southern Drakensberg. From here, trails climb into the Lesotho highlands, following ancient basalt ridges, high-altitude valleys, and remote mountain passes. Hikes provide sweeping views, crystal streams, and true alpine isolation. Four days allows exploration of multiple routes - ideal for hikers chasing altitude, space, and big scenery.
Participation is based on a first come first serve basis. If the hike is filled up, we encourage you to add yourself to the waiting list. Often more spaces can be made available if required.
