Learn to Machine: Manual Mill Training

Machining is an incredibly useful maker skill and unlocks an entire world of fabrication possibilities. This class is aimed at teaching a new-comer to machining the essentials needed to get started using Solid State Depots manual mill:

• Safety and Machine Maintenance
• Tool Changes and Machine Operation
• Speeds and Feeds
• Hands on tool training

Goal of the class is to get everyone some hands on time on the machine, and comfortable enough to start safely experimenting with it.

Class is free and open to the public (Solid State Depot membership not required!).
