Clay recycling and wedging

This event is focused on establishing clay recycling and re-use at the Solid State Depot among existing members. Non-members can join in to check out the ceramics space if desired. I will start working on clay recycling at 5 and go until we’re done (feel free to duck out). We will cover recycling bin set up, mixing the clay and then a quick review of wedging, which is critical after the clay has set up in the bin. For Members: If you want to do clay recycling at home, bring a bin with a lid (see picture). I will bring my bag of plaster and make a recycling bin for the SSD and you can work to make your own.
