Why: To teach you how to design your own PCBs using Eagle, freeware PCB design software.

How Much: Free for members, $10 for non-members.

Details:

Come learn how to design your own printed circuit boards. We will teach you the ins and outs of Eagle, one of the most widely used PCB layout editors. Whether you've never designed a PCB before or have some experience, this is the class for you.

All you need to bring is your laptop with Eagle. Please install Eagle beforehand to insure you get the most out of the class. You can download it here (http://www.cadsoftusa.com/download-eagle/?language=en). It works on Mac, Win and Linux. The latest version is 6.4, but if you have an older version, you will still be able to follow along. Eagle is freeware. There is a paid version, but you will be able to do tons of designs in the free version.
