Wood CNC Router Training: Learn to ShopBot!
Details
Solid State Depot's wood CNC router is an incredibly powerful tool. However, CNC routers are also somewhat tricky tools to operate correctly. This class is aimed at teaching folks how to use the CNC machine and prepares them for passing the certification test required to run the machine at the Makerspace.
This class will cover all the essentials need to operate the machine:
- Safety
- Loading Programs
- Securing Stock Material
- Running Jobs
- Cleanup
While aimed at folks looking to get certified on the makerspace's machine, this class should be useful to anyone interested in CNC machining and is open to the public!
Class duration: 1.5-2 hours
