Aluminum Tig Welding

Let's weld some Al-You-Minimum! For this class I don't think it's necessary to have prior experience, but if you've never TIG welded before, you should definitely watch the videos below! They'll show the basic technique for how close the electrode (tungsten) should be, and explain the reason we need AC to weld aluminum.
For the class I'll bring aluminum for us to practice welding on. If you have any welding gear (helmet or gloves or shirt) feel free to bring it, SSD has helmets but they're not great.
